This edition’s featured poets:

1. MICHAEL KLEIN
Michael Klein is a four-time Lambda Literary award finalist and won the award twice for his anthology, Poets for Life: 76 Poets Respond to AIDS and for his first book of poems, 1990. His third book is The Talking Day and he has new work appearing or forthcoming in Little Star, Provincetown Arts, The Awl and Poetry Magazine. He teaches in the MFA Program at Goddard College and lives in New York City and Provincetown. 7TrainLove.org.

2. HEATHER AIMEE O’NEILL
Heather Aimee O’Neill is the Assistant Director of the Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop, and teaches creative writing at CUNY Hunter College. A recent Lambda Literary Poetry Fellow, her poetry chapbook, Memory Future, won the University of Southern California’s Gold Line Press Award, chosen by judge Carol Muske-Dukes. Her work has been shortlisted for the Pirate’s Alley Faulkner-Wisdom Award, and has appeared in numerous literary journals. She is a freelance writer for publications such as Time Out New York, Parents Magazine, and Salon.com, and is an editor for the United Nations.

3. JOSEPH RIIPPI
Joseph Riippi is the author of the books Because, A Cloth House, The Orange Suitcase, and Do Something! Do Something! Do Something!. A chapbook, Puyallup, Washington (an interrogation), with illustrations by Edward Mullany, will launch at AWP Seattle. In October, Civil Coping Mechanisms will release his next novel, Research: A Novel for Performance. He lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Visit josephriippi.com

4. CHRISTOPHER SALERNO
Christopher Salerno’s most recent book of poems, ATM, was selected by D.A. Powell for the 2013 Georgetown Review Poetry Prize. Previous books include Minimum Heroic (Mississippi Review Poetry Prize, 2010), and Whirligig. His chapbook, Automatic Teller won the 2013 Laurel Review Midwest Chapbook Prize and will be published sometime in 2014. Another chapbook, AORTA, was published by Poor Claudia in 2013. His poems have been published in numerous magazines, including Boston Review, Colorado Review, Fence, Denver Quarterly, American Letters and Commentary, Verse Daily, Mississippi Review, and elsewhere. He is currently an Assistant Professor of English at William Paterson University where manages the new journal, Map Literary.

5. NICOLE SANTALUCIA
Nicole Santalucia won the Ruby Irene Poetry Chapbook Prize from Arcadia Magazine for her manuscript, Driving Yourself to Jail in July, published in January 2014. She received her MFA from The New School University and will receive her PhD from Binghamton University in May 2014. Nicole founded a literary outreach program in 2011, The Binghamton Poetry Project, and continues to work as the Project Director. She also teaches creative writing and literature at Binghamton. Her poetry and non-fiction have appeared, or are forthcoming, in The Cincinnati Review, 2 Bridges Review, Paterson Literary Review, Bayou Magazine, Gertrude, Oklahoma Review, Zymbol Magazine, and others.
