We’re pleased to announce that beginning in September 2015, “Oscillate Wildly” will occur regularly on the 3rd Saturday of every month at The Gallery at LPR! Mark those calendars.
“Oscillate Wildly”—The Celebrated NYC Smiths & Morrissey Fan Party. From it’s humble beginnings Wednesday nights at Black & White bar in the East Village, “Oscillate Wildly” has grown to travel to a variety of Downtown NYC venues over the last six years, and put-on special editions such as “The Brooklyn Bash” at The Bell House earlier in 2015 featuring Screamin’ Rebel Angels, a huge Madison Square Garden Morrissey concert after-party at The Cutting Room in summer 2015, and more. Keep an eye out for more special editions and big surprises in 2016!
To those new to the party, “Oscillate Wildly” was formed to pay tribute to the music and timeless legacy of The Smiths, Johnny Marr, and the solo work of iconic solo artist Morrissey. Dance for 6 hours to the most ecstatic hits, album cuts, b-sides and fan favorites lovingly curated by DJ Ceremony and guests DJs. “Is it really so strange?”
• Gladioli encouraged
• 21 & up. $5.
• Morrissey cinema screened all night
• 1 AM Smiths/Morrissey rarity/memorabilia raffle
• Free admission with Smiths/Morrissey t-shirt, or Smiths/Morrissey tattoo
Dress: Brigitte Bardot, Alexandra Bastedo, Truman Capote, James Dean, Steve McQueen, Nico, Edie Sedgwick, Sandie Shaw, The Silver Factory, Paul Weller, Oscar Wilde, Natalie Wood, minor extra from the “Stop Me” video.
