Print Feature in Time Out New York for “OSCILLATE WILDLY”: May 8, 2014

“OSCILLATE WILDLY” was featured in the May 8, 2014 issue of Time Out New York, as the kickoff to the “Perfect Weekend.”

I couldn’t agree more with their assessment!

Time Out New York says: “The Smiths’ separation is still a sore subject for the many fans of the lovelorn Brits. If you’re among those still down on their disbanding, some 27 years later, OSCILLATE WILDLY (The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker St at Thompson St; 212-505-3474, lepoissonrouge.com; 10pm; $5) could put a bit of much-needed indie-pop pep back in your step. DJ Ceremony heads the 35th edition of the monthly soiree, where you can expect classics (“There is a Light That Never Goes Out,” “Bigmouth Strikes Again”) and deep cuts (“Jeane,” “Work Is A Four Letter Word”). Moz maniacs need not fear—the Pope of Mope’s solo hits round out the playlist, along with Britpop and U.K. post punk, while some of the singer’s favorite British realist dramas play on the big screen. (You may recognize a few of them as album-cover inspiration.)”
