This edition’s featured poets:

1. LISA MARIE BASILE
Lisa Marie Basile is a graduate of The New School’s MFA program in Writing. She is the author of Andalucia (Brothel Books) and Triste (Dancing Girl Press). Her work can be seen in Word Riot, PANK, kill author, Moon Milk Review, elimae & Pear Noir! among other publications. She is the founding editor of Patasola Press & the Patasola Review, and is a writer for thethepoetry. She is also an assistant editor for Fifth Wednesday Journal. Performing for The Poetry Brothel, she also is a part of the Poetry Society of New York member of the Poetry Society of New York, which produces the Annual NYC poetry Festival.

2. ROBERT GIBBONS
Robert Gibbons moved to New York City in the summer of 2007 in search of his muse-Langston Hughes. Robert has featured in many venues around New York City. Not only in New York City, but also in Washington, D.C. ; Maryland, and Florida. Robert has taken master classes with Cave Canem and the 92Y and has studied under master poets such as: Cornelius Eady, Marilyn Nelson, KImiko Hahn, Nathalie Handal, Linda Susan Jackson, Kevin Young and Kwame Dawes. 3. PAUL LISICKY
Paul Lisicky is the author of LAWNBOY, FAMOUS BUILDER, THE BURNING HOUSE, and UNBUILT PROJECTS. His work has appeared in THE AWL, FENCE, THE IOWA REVIEW, PLOUGHSHARES, TIN HOUSE, UNSTUCK, and other magazines and anthologies. His awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the James Michener/Copernicus Society, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, where he was twice a Fellow. He is the New Voices Professor at Rutgers-Camden and he teaches in the low residency MFA program at Sierra Nevada College. A memoir, THE NARROW DOOR, is forthcoming from Graywolf Press in 2014.

4. J. HOPE STEIN
J. Hope Stein is the author of [Talking Doll] (Dancing Girl Press), [Mary] (Hyacinth Girl Press) and Corner Office (H_ngm_n Bks.) She is editor of poetrycrush.com and author of www.eecattings.com.

5. LEIGH STEIN
Leigh Stein is the author of the novel THE FALLBACK PLAN, which New York Magazine called “a masterwork of the post-collegiate babysitting genre,” and a book of poems, DISPATCH FROM THE FUTURE.

Leah Umansky is a New Yorker by birth, a teacher by choice, and an anglophile at heart. Her first collection of poems, DOMESTIC UNCERTAINTIES, has just been published by BlazeVOX Books. She earned her MFA in Poetry at Sarah Lawrence College and is a recipient of a 1-week fellowship at the Norman Mailer Writers Colony.
